Two-time Olympic champion, Russian vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva in tears at a meeting in the Kremlin with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The head of state on Wednesday discussed with the athletes the situation around the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro and the participation of Russians in the competition. Video of the meeting published RT.

“We were suspended without evidence, arrogantly, rudely and were not given any chance to justify himself. This Olympiad was the first for some, for someone latest. We are not spared, with the recoil worked and almost reached the finish line, and we have this dream away”, — said Isinbayeva.

In her view, removed from the Olympics, the athletes pay for the mistakes of the “less responsible athletes and spoke about the arbitrariness and lawlessness of the world’s sports officials. Isinbayeva also called on those athletes who were admitted to the Games, don’t let the pressure and show the best results.

“Show what you can do, for himself and for us. All these pseudocyst foreign athletes understand that it is not those attacked. Play so that the whole world was shocked”, she said.

On the eve of Russian freestyle wrestler Magomed kurbanaliyev told about the intention to win the gold medal at the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro and promised to “extinguish” all opponents.

“We’ll have for them, for our athletes, also to fight, will, as they say, to put out all! Strongly, of course, will go for gold medals”, — he said.

On 24 July, the Executive Committee of the International Olympic Committee has allowed Russian national team to the Olympics with some reservations. However, the disqualification of the all-Russian athletics Federation, it was decided to leave in force.
