WADA revoked the accreditation of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory

WADA отозвало аккредитацию Московской антидопинговой лаборатории

The world anti-doping Agency (WADA) revoked the accreditation of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory, this is the official website of the Agency.

Independent Commission WADA in November, accused Russia of anti-doping rules violations and recommended that the International Association of athletics federations (IAAF) to disqualify Russian athletes from participation in competitions under its auspices, including the 2016 Olympics. The IAAF followed the recommendation and removed the all-Russian athletics Federation (vfla). Was also suspended the Moscow anti-doping laboratory and the decision was made about the mismatch of the Russian anti-doping Agency (RUSADA) to the WADA code.

In February and RUSADA national anti-doping organisation UK (UKAD) has signed a cooperation agreement. UKAD shall provide the necessary testing of Russian athletes, while RUSADA will not restore compliance with the WADA code. In late March, Mutko reported that the procedure for re-accreditation of the Moscow lab will begin on April 7-10.
