VTB Bank buys 22.4 thousand square meters in the tower “Eurasia” in the MIBC “Moscow city”, reports RIA Novosti.
The deal is estimated at 20.3 billion rubles. The seller — open company “Plaza”. The premises will be transferred to the property in April of this year. Earlier media wrote that the tower of the “Eurasia” VTB plans to place the headquarters of the Bank of Moscow and VTB 24, included in the structure of its business.
VTB already owns a property in “Moscow-city”. The group holds 60 thousand square meters (30 floors) in the tower “the West” a complex “Federation”. Through the company “gals-development” VTB also owns the project IQ-quarter.
According to S. A. Ricci, the banking structure became the owners of the areas in “Moscow-city”. In particular, in 2009 the company Capital Group for the debts transferred to the savings Bank about 60 thousand square meters in the project “capital City”. In 2011, Sberbank also could get for the debts of the project “Eurasia”, but the deal never took place.
Tower “Eurasia” is built on a 12-m section of the “Moscow-city” in 2014. The height of the tower is 309 meters, total area of 214 thousand square meters.
