This week at the motor show in Beijing Volkswagen has unveiled a new concept electric SUV, which previously reported on our website. New concept electric car called T-Prime Concept GTE, and, it seems, is the answer to the success of the hybrid Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
Volkswagen in its press release announced the main features of the electric SUV T-Prime GTE Concept:
-The concept is a full-size SUV has a sporty and elegant design
-Active information display and infotainment system are merged under a transparent glass in the salon to create a scope of driver interaction with electric vehicles
-Intuitive controls and displays consist of touch-only screens. In addition, the car provides the control of voice and gestures
All-wheel drive system 4MOTION boasts 375 HP
-Electric range is 50 km and the fuel consumption will be as low as 2.7 l/100km
-Acceleration to 100 km/h is 6 seconds and a top speed in hybrid will be about 224 km/h
While there’s no word on when the new concept Volkswagen T-Prime GTE Concept will enter production, but the company says about the great future of the new model.
