Sea trials of the car are held on the track Nurburgring.
In the new line from the car the Volkswagen may receive improved modification Tiguan R. this is evidenced by a video published in YouTube.
It is noted that the official confirmation of the release of new models at the moment didn’t arrive. In the video they say that under the hood you will find the two-liter power unit capacity of 300 horsepower. The engine will run with two couplings and a 7-speed DSG.
Externally, the hatchback can be distinguished from its predecessor only because of the sporty body kit, equipped with a series R-Line. It includes scuff plates, improved front bumper and 19-inch wheels on the wheels. A characteristic feature of the new Tiguan R will be the twin exhaust pipes that you can see in the video frames.
At the moment nothing is reported about the early release cars. Experts say that details of the release and exact specifications can be known in March next year, when Geneva will host the exhibition of new models. If this does not happen, then the modification should be expected in September 2017.
