As reported by our British colleagues, German automotive concern Volkswagen will hold an official presentation of his new budget of the electric vehicle at the auto show in Paris 2016. The showroom will open in October.
This information was confirmed by the head of the VW — Herbert Diss. According to him, the serial production of this model should be expected around 2019.
The main “chip” novelties from Volkswagen is the fact that it was originally created on the basis of the electric vehicle in contrast to the previously presented e-Golf and e-Up!. These models are converted from standard to electric cars. New car that runs exclusively on electricity, the size will be comparable to the hatchback VW Golf. Due to the lack of under the hood of an internal combustion engine in terms of spaciousness the interior of the new model will be similar to the Passat model.
More details on this model have not yet been reported. It is expected that the fully charged battery the electric car will be able to travel up to 600 kilometers. This figure is quite good, considering that the new electric VW will be positioned as a budget model to compete in this class will be less efficient carts.
