Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Nadia Savchenko, sentenced to a lengthy term in Russia in connection with participation in the conflict in the Donbass and pardoned by President Putin, spoke about the trip to Moscow. The MP came to the announcement of the verdict in the case of Ukrainians Mykola Karpiuk and Stanislaus Cliche.

“I came back from hell alive again,” she wrote on Facebook.

“These are the words of a strong man. Nicholas — a true patriot, to fight, as well as for all Ukrainian prisoners and captives,” — said Savchenko.

Karpyuk and Klyh October 26, was convicted on charges of participation in hostilities on the side of Chechen militants in the 1990s. On 26 October the Supreme court of Russia upheld the verdict of the Karpyuk and Klychu. The Ukrainian foreign Ministry expressed protest in connection with the decision of the SC.

On the eve of his arrival Savchenko has recorded a video message in which he said that travels to Moscow to support the Ukrainians, knowing that may not make it back alive.
