From history we can learn that sanctions against a state, as a rule, have no effect, and sometimes even have to who introduced them, very serious consequences. A typical example of a non-effect of sanctions can be considered Cuba. In March this year, the American President even visited Havana, where he met with the brother of the former dictator, also a dictator. His visit Obama called the first step in a new Chapter of relations between the two countries. Another, though different example would be North Korea. But the main characteristics of the two samples are the same. The dictator and his cronies live well: they will not spend, and the suffering of ordinary people. In North Korea he probably still starving. However, this does not prevent the leader of the revolution to create missiles with nuclear warheads and then threatening them the rest of the world.

But back to us, to Europe. After the First world war the Treaty of Versailles ordered Germany not struck by sanctions and war reparations. She destroyed the already war-ravaged economy so that the Great depression 30-ies caused showing promise of democracy the Weimar Republic a blow from the past and came to power, the Nazis headed by Adolf Hitler. How devastating were the consequences of this for Europe and much of the world, we all know.

Currently, the sanctions against the Russian Federation. Their protagonist is — what else — United States, headed by the winner of the Nobel peace prize. And they assent to the EU leaders with loyal European followers behind. And although all of them are well aware that these meaningless sanctions and understandable response on the part of Russia the most harm to the economy of their own countries, in the voice they prefer not to speak.

And so under the slogan “We’ll show Putin!” they seek to weaken the Oriental power in economic and military terms, and to destabilize its political system. Those “know-all” who can’t see beyond their own noses and equate Putin to Hitler, I would like to see him resign. In their shortsightedness and stupidity they do not understand what the result of the resignation of the Russian President, heads of nuclear power, which in their eyes is the embodiment of all evil on earth.

Maybe these “great statesmen” see the light, admit their mistake and begin to correct it before it is too late. Until then, they would from his own pocket to compensate for the economic losses to those who suffer from their ambitions.
