This place is popular among tourists.
The best in the Boros collection (Sammlung Boros) is not that it contains numerous contemporary works by such artists as Damien Hirst, Wolfgang Tillmans, and even AI Weiwei or even the fact that there is exhibited a part of a full-size replica of the statue of Liberty. The most important thing is that everything is perceived as a big secret. This effect is achieved through the placement of installations in the three-meter walls in a military bunker from the Second world war.

Building the collection of the Boros began its life as designed by albert Speer, the Nazi military bunker from the Third Reich, participated in the final battle the defense of the city.

After the Second world war the building was Bostonas zone occupied by Soviet troops, and was used to keep German soldiers. Then, when the Berlin wall fell, was transformed into a warehouse for storage of fruits and vegetables, and in 1990-e years it was even carried out violent underground discos and raves.

Towering over the center of Berlin, this building from the outside doesn’t look like an exhibition space, but within this carefully curated private collection, which can be seen by appointment only.
That all changed in 2003 when the advertising magnate Christian Boros and his wife Karen bought a bunker to store his collection of works of art collected over decades. A pair of partially changed the interior layout, removing 40 of the existing 120 rooms, and doors were opened in 2007.
