Tymoshenko has chided Ukrainian diplomats for failures in foreign policy

The leader of the party “Batkivshchyna” Yulia Tymoshenko at a briefing in Kiev said that recently Ukrainian diplomats made two major foreign policy failure. On Wednesday the TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

The first failure, in its view, is the decision of the Polish Sejm on recognizing Volyn tragedy genocide of poles by Ukrainian nationalists. The second failure it is called the statement of the President of Israel Reuven Rivlin about the involvement of Ukrainians to the mass murder and persecution of Jews during the Second world war.

“Unfortunately, the diplomatic efforts just failed. It is connected with all the negotiation processes that are underway around the end of the war in the Donbass”, — said Tymoshenko.

On Tuesday, September 27, the President of Israel Reuven Rivlin during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada reminded of aiding Ukrainian nationalists, German Nazis during the Second world war.

“About 1.5 million Jews were killed on the territory of modern Ukraine during world war II at Babi Yar and many other places. They were shot in the forests, near ravines and ditches, pushed into mass graves. Many of the accomplices of the crime were Ukrainians,” Rivlin said at the parliamentary hearings dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the execution of tens of thousands of people at Babi Yar.

In July, the lower house of the Polish Parliament adopted a bill under which the crimes of the OUN-UPA (organization banned in Russia) against the poles in Volhynia in 1943 to 1945 was recognized as genocide.
