Two supporters climbed Savchenko on the territory of the Russian Embassy in Kiev

Two participants of the rally in Kiev in support of Nadiya Savchenko climbed over the fence into the Russian Embassy. Law enforcement officers brought them, RIA Novosti reported with reference to TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

“There are law enforcement agencies, in particular the staff of the National guard of Ukraine. Just a few minutes ago their number increased, we have further strength gains. This is due to the fact that some of the demonstrators tried to break through the fence of the Russian Embassy”, — the correspondent of the TV channel.

The press-Secretary of Embassy Oleg Grishin told RIA Novosti that “the people has already withdrawn from the territory of security, the stones broke the Windows of the building on the ground floor and CCTV cameras”.

“112 Ukraine” reports that one of those who jumped the fence, was in uniform. He smashed the Windows, tried to open doors that were locked, and to break a lock on the fence, then ran away. In police reported that to detain the man was not in their jurisdiction, it was to make the Embassy guard.

On the fence hung posters with the words #FreeSavchenko.

On Sunday in several cities of Ukraine held a rally in support Savchenko. In Kiev the protesters from Maidan Nezalezhnosti moved to the Russian Embassy. They threw in the building of eggs. Now there are several hundred people.

On the night of March 6, about ten people came to the building of the Russian diplomatic mission with fire and started to hit cars parked near the Embassy. As a result three cars were damaged. Criminal case as regards 2 articles 296 UK of Ukraine (“Hooliganism”). Moscow has sent to Kiev a note of protest.

The attackers, as published on the YouTube account, demanding the release of Ukrainian army Hope Savchenko, which in Russia is judged by the murder of Russian journalists Igor Kornelyuk and Anton Voloshin in June 2014 near the city of Lugansk.
