The length of the runway is 3.8 thousand meters.

The passenger terminal building is built in the shape of a giant bird with outstretched wings – like logo uses the national carrier Turkmenistan Airlines.

In addition, the representative of the Guinness book of records has testified that on the roof of the terminal building depicted the world’s largest carpet ornaments with an area of 705 square meters.

The country is not very developed tourist industry, partly due to rigid visa regime and geographical position of Turkmenistan.
