Ankara is ready to cooperate with Moscow in the fight against ISIS.
Turkey may allow Russia to use the airbase in Incirlik for operations against the “Islamic state” in Syria. This was announced by Turkish foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
“We will cooperate with all who oppose ISIS. We fight, and we opened a base in Incirlik for those who want to actively participate in it. Why shouldn’t we just cooperate with Russia?”, – the Minister said.
Cavusoglu underlined that ISIL is an enemy with whom to fight.
“This is highly important for the implementation of this mechanism in life and prevent any unwanted incidents. On this topic we agreed with Sergey Lavrov,” – said the diplomat.
