Turkey – a stronghold of the terrorists of the IG

Турция – оплот террористов из ИГ

Damascus accuses Ankara of supporting terrorists. As reported TASS, this was stated by permanent representative of Syria to the UN Bashar ja’afari.

According to him, the mercenaries fighting on the side of the terrorist group “Islamic state” cross the borders with the help of foreign intelligence agencies, “most of the militants infiltrated Syria from Turkey.” “This indicates the involvement of Ankara for their support,” said Jaafari. The terrorists would not be able to resist the government army without foreign aid, they get a weapon, pass training, he said.

At the same time, Turkey closes the delivery to Syria for humanitarian assistance. So, Ankara has blocked the official route, which was the authority in the province of El Haski and al-Kamishli. About that Jaafari informed the Deputy special envoy of the UN Secretary General on Syria Izzeddine Ramsay. At a meeting with him the permanent representative of Syria to the UN also noted that Damascus is cooperating in the delivery of humanitarian aid to the country with the UN and with the International Committee of the red cross. The delegation of the government provided the list of cities where this aid would be sent.

The difficult situation in this area has been one of the reasons (along with the reluctance of Damascus to discuss the establishment of a transitional government without the participation of the President of Syria Bashar al Asaad), which formed the delegation in Riyadh, the opposition of the Supreme Committee for the negotiations took a break on the intra-Syrian talks in Geneva.

It is interesting that the government delegations consider the output of the CPSU from negotiations a big plus. “Leaving, they may remove the greatest obstacle that will allow us to achieve a solution (to the conflict),” – said Jaafari.
