Tyumen may soon become a world biathlon capital, along with Ostersund, Hochfilzen or Ruhpolding. IBU will take a decision later this year.
Well, Tyumen, it seems, are ready to take the biathlon competitions of any level. For this we have not only the snow and the “Pearl of Siberia”, but the fans, whose passion for biathlon sometimes takes a very unusual form. So the fitness instructor from Tyumen Irina Nikolaeva made a tattoo of the leader of the national biathlon team and our fellow countryman Anton Shipulin.
Irina is an ardent fan of biathlon, and not only for the period of the Olympics, as most of us: she watches the world Cup, immediately can distinguish Samppa from the Lesser, but because, according to her, no wonder she decided on a fan art on his own back.
– Irina, how did you come up with this idea?
– The idea was for a long time, but to get a tattoo only happened in August of last year, – Irina told to “Komsomolskaya Pravda – Tyumen”. – Met several times with the master looking on the Internet for a suitable photo of the sketch. In the end, took the side stand of Shipulin. The master was, of course, surprised no one has asked you to do something like that. – Why Anton Shipulin?
– Everyone asks why Shipulin. This isn’t some Declaration of love, just now he is the leader of our team, the leader of the world biathlon. Besides, has long been friends with Anna Maslova is a twin sister of Anton and his family, so that was not the question of who will be on my back!

– How much time you spent on tattoos?

– How your family reacted?
– Rapidly. Friends liked, and the main question: “what do you keep waiting?” (laughs). Husband is not against my hobby of biathlon, together we chose the picture with flowers was determined. More thrilled was my daughter is my biggest cheerleader, she dreams of becoming a biathlete! And the most violent reaction was from Evgeny Garanichev! Met him in one of the Tyumen supermarket a week after the tattoo, so are unable to boast. He appreciated!
Actually tattoo is a pure improvement: where one “wow” and “cool”, another will say why you need it, and the legendary “look at your tattoo in 30 years”. And I’m not one of those who would worry about criticism.
– And the surrounding? On the beach, for example.

– At the European Championships in Tyumen plan to support?
– Already bought the ticket. It’s great that Tyumen today is the capital of biathlon. The race of Champions, Governor’s Cup, now the European championship is a serious competition that the city with dignity. In March I plan to go to the world Cup final in Khanty-Mansiysk, at the same time to help Anna Maslova with the organization of our travel fan team. By the way, we invite all the fans!
