The unique project of Jimmy Nelson.
In the world there are many tribes that have managed to maintain their traditions and resist the temptations of civilization. All these people live about the rules of their ancestors and try to keep a distance from strangers. However, gradually civilization replaces them and becomes the reason for their disappearance. To preserve the culture of these tribes and peoples is very important.
However, this problem only concern the few. One such person is a British photographer and adventurer Jimmy Nelson. He was the author of the unique photo project “Before they disappear”. The man spent three years in order to find these ancient, little-studied community, learn about their lives and to take these pictures. He lived together with representatives of tribes and cultures that are disappearing from our planet, shared with them the bread and got to know them, and they knew him.
