The Polish master Janusz Urbanski has one of a kind chess Board and a guitar that never plays, and a boat that can’t swim. All because they are made of tens of thousands of regular matches.
“This lesson takes me 10-12 hours daily. Once you start work, it is so addictive that it is impossible to quit until you see the end result.”
According to the calculations of the master, his entire 40-year career, he spent on the sculpture about 11 million matches.
In the apartment of his sculptures are everywhere, they are of different scale and size. One of the greatest match creations – boat “Stephanie” 2.4 meters in length, named in honor of his late mother.
