Not all duels were serious.
Early disputes between men or showdown solved: they challenged each other to a duel. At some times weapons were swords, in others muskets, and others – revolvers. But were these the originals, which were held the fights on the sausages or billiard balls.
Duel naked
In the early nineteenth century in the UK two gentlemen had an argument and, as was her wont, had challenged each other to a duel. Therefore, gentlemen, Le Pique and Grandpré they challenged each other to a duel. So their fight was remembered, they gave him a balloon at an altitude of 600 meters. The duel pool balls
35 years later after a duel in balloons in France, there was another non-standard duel. Excessively gambling pool players could not come to a consensus regarding the outcome of the game. The decision of the dispute was the duel. But the Lord Melvan and Lanfan chose not to use muskets or revolvers, and took the billiard balls. Malpan threw the ball first, hit him in the forehead, and he immediately died. Happy scrapper for long, because he was arrested for murder.
Duel on sausages
The “iron Chancellor” Otto von Bismarck in 1865 caused a duel of famous Rudolf Virchow – the head of the opposition Liberal party. The Chancellor was strongly affected by statements of Virchow relative to the policy of Bismarck. Rudolf Virchow has given the right to choose the weapon. He certainly knew about the incredible accuracy of Bismarck and instead of firearms proposed duel… on the sausages. One sausage was absolutely harmless, and the other contained Trichinella (larva of tapeworms dangerous to life). Otto von Bismarck, being of sound mind, refused to duel.
