Prerequisites to conduct covert cold war from Washington become more evident. The national nuclear security administration of the U.S. yesterday announced that launched technological development and further production of the modernised nuclear bombs B61-12. Experts predict its emergence by 2020.
It is necessary to tell, that the B61 thermonuclear warhead went into production, and stood on the arms of the United States since 1960. According to NNSA plans, the new development of the B61-12 will replace its predecessor and will be installed on tactical aircraft, including strategic bombers. From 2020, the weapons will be transferred to NATO, so the place of his dislocation will become a European military bases.
However, the Pentagon decided that the modernization of nuclear bombs is not enough, so now preparing a draft development and production of new Intercontinental ballistic missiles. Is it just another show of force? Or just a reminder of her?
Moscow has already reacted to this news. The defense Ministry intends to carry out an analysis of us updates and if necessary to take the required action. It is worth mentioning that we never for a moment did not stop the development of nuclear industry, it is one of the priorities of the military-industrial complex.
However, military analyst Alexander Perendzhiev expressed the view that the modernization of the nuclear bomb could have serious consequences for the world. The old weapons will either be disposed of or converted. However, it is understood that the modernization of warheads could lead to the ability to adjust the amount of damaging factors, such as a shock wave, radiation, light radiation, electromagnetic pulse and more. Previously, these processes were considered uncontrollable, but now everything has changed. There is a question on creation of “clean” nuclear warheads, which can then be applied in practice.
Knowing Americans, it will sound so: “if effects are regulated or reduced to zero, the innovative warhead is less dangerous than conventional nuclear weapons”. This happens imbalance of the entire nuclear safety. The situation may again come to the fact that a nuclear bomb will not be a deterrent, but the real weapon, which, for example, Washington can experience in the middle East or to overthrow North Korea. It’s safe to say that the improvements and any kind of modernization of such weapons can cause serious problems on a planetary scale.
