B-52 bombers approaching the new bases of Russia in the Arctic Islands
During the July 31 – August 1, exercises the United States Strategic command U.S. strategic b-52 bombers flew along the Russian Arctic coast, approaching new bases of Russia in the Arctic Islands.
This was reported by Western sites tracking the movement of military aircraft.
This information became available only now. According to the objective observation of the sites during the exercise, two strategic bombers b-52 taking off from the continental U.S., flew to the North pole, and then turned in the direction of the Norwegian archipelago of Svalbard.
