The fourth round of the group stages of the European competition was held for Ukraine to have the usual scenario – the only victory again brought “Shakhtar”.
Kiev “Dynamo” in the Champions League away to SL Benfica (0:1) and to at least reduce their chances to continue their European campaign.
Shakhtar in the Europa League re-figured out “the Gent” (5:3) ahead of schedule and made it to the 1/16 finals of the European Cup. “Dawn” most are not able to press “Feyenord” and actually put an end to his European adventure.
The victory of “Shakhtar” and draw “Dawn” added to the Bank of Ukraine by 0.6 points. The separation from Belgium is nearly five points, but the main competitor in the playoffs of the Europa League can qualify from three clubs.
