The transition period for the replacement of forms of insurance will last until 1 October. This was stated by the head of the Russian Union of insurers Igor Jurgens. The campaign for the transfer of CTP insurers to sell policies on the new forms will begin from 1 July.
Within three months, the insurance company will sell the forms of both new and old type. This is because currently, they still have many policies already old model.
“Transition period by simultaneously selling the old green and new pink blank policies will be installed from 1 July for 3 months. In this period of time changes to contracts or new contracts, the insurance companies will be able to carry out both new and old forms of policies. This period will give the possibility of more comfortable to adjust to new policies by the consumers of insurance services and regulatory and Supervisory authorities”, – said Igor Yurgens.
Additionally, the insurance contracts concluded on the old forms until October 1, 2016, there will be legal before the end of their validity period.
Recall, the insurers insisted on changing forms in mind a large number of fake insurance policies. According to their estimates, counterfeit forms now in the country is around one million.
