Boris Johnson urged to put pressure on Russia to stop the violence in Syria.
The British foreign Secretary Boris Johnson believes that the pressure on Russia will stop military conflict in Syria.
The appropriate point of view he expressed on Tuesday following his visit to Turkey.
“We must continue to work together to resolve the dramatic situation in Syria and to support its people, who deserve a future without violence from both Islamic state and the regime (of President Bashar) Assad. I am also convinced that we must continue to put pressure on Russia to help stop the carnage and bring the parties back to the negotiating table,” said Johnson following his visit to Turkey.
Johnson made his first official visit to Turkey as the Minister of foreign Affairs. He held talks with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and his counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
