Russian companies use semi-criminal schemes of evasion of international sanctions over its occupation of Crimea.
This was stated by MP from the “popular front” Georgy Logvynsky, commenting on the fact that the Russian state company “Rosatom” unofficially supplying equipment for construction of energy facilities in the occupied Crimea, reported the press service of the NF.
“Rosatom” using illegal, criminal schemes to formally fall under international sanctions for their work in the occupied Crimea. Top Manager of the company “secretly” acknowledges that supplies equipment to the Crimea. And according to the documents, the project formalized as ‘ Taman power plant on the territory of the Russian Federation – information which is not published. “This is not the only case. We constantly receive information about gray and black schemes, airline and shipping companies that violate sanctions and prohibitions on work in the Crimea. The Russian occupation is largely criminal, smuggling methods”, – said Logvinsky.
The actions of “Rosatom”, he said, should be considered as a violation of international law and extra powerful threat to the security of Ukraine and the whole world community.
“We are talking not only about the violation of sanctions against Russia.” Rosatom, the state Corporation for the nuclear industry, the international monopoly and multi-billion dollar borrower in the global financial market. Reaction to such actions of Russia, he believes, should be the introduction of additional sanctions by Ukraine and Western countries, as well as the criminal responsibility of specific officials of the Russian Federation.
“And you need to check and prosecute every company that falls under the existing sanctions: Russian, Ukrainian, foreign. We have 2 years to carry out this work in an interagency working group of Ukraine in the Crimea.
