In divisions of land forces of Latvia, the replacement of Soviet small arms on the Western system was carried out in 1990-2000-ies. Currently, the army and the country uses rifle G-36, M-14, M-16, machine guns FN “minimi”, MG-3 and M2 large-caliber, pistols “Beretta” and “Glock” of various types.
