The United States will oppose attempts of Russia to undermine overall security.
The Russian Federation intends to undermine the world order. This was stated by the Minister of defense of the United States of America Ashton Carter before the students of the University of Oxford in the UK.
The Minister of defence of the USA has accused the Russian authorities of aggressive behavior. Carter argues that Russia’s actions are based on the false ambitions and unreasonable fears.
American defense Minister accused Moscow of violating the territorial integrity of Ukraine and Georgia, in “unprofessional behavior” in space and cyberspace, as well as “the rattling of nuclear weapons”.
“We are not looking for the enemy in the face of Russia. But we will defend our allies, principled world order and the positive future that he will bring us all” – said Carter.
According to him, the US does not intend to ignore attempts to interfere in the democratic processes and the will to resist Russia’s attempts to undermine overall security.
