In turn, the mission of observers of the International Republican Institute (IRI) said that the elections to the Parliament of Georgia passed mostly peacefully, although they cannot be called ideal.

IRI observers monitored the voting process at more than 200 stations, and the election period held over a thousand meetings with the parties participating in the elections.

The representative of the Central election Commission of Georgia Anna Mikeladze, in turn, said that the parliamentary elections mostly took place in a calm atmosphere, although the number of polling stations and outside were recorded separately.

We will remind that according to preliminary data, the ruling party “Georgian dream-Democratic Georgia” gained from 48,2% to 50% of the votes, and the opposition “United national movement”, from the 25.9 to 27.7%.
