From 12 October to 9 April, the strongest hockey players in the world will determine the participants in the playoffs for the umpteenth season in the NHL.
The upcoming season has a special significance in the history of the National hockey League in the world, the first draw which took place in 1917. In the year of the centennial anniversary of the NHL kicks off the 99th season since 2004, hockey players did not go on the ice because of the lockout.
Thirty NHL clubs divided into two conferences and four divisions. Next season in the American hockey will replenish – a new member of the NHL will become the “Las Vegas”.
Western conference: “Anaheim”, “Arizona”, “Vancouver”, “calgary”, “Los Angeles”, “San Jose”, “Edmonton”, “Winnipeg”, “Dallas”, “Colorado”, “Minnesota”, “Nashville”, “Saint Louis” and “Chicago.”
Eastern conference: “Buffalo”, “Boston”, “Detroit”, “Montreal”, “Ottawa”, “Tampa Bay”, “Toronto”, “Florida”, “Washington”, “Carolina”, “Columbus”, “NJ”, “islanders”, “Rangers”, “Pittsburgh” and “Philadelphia”.
Regular season starts on 12 October and will end on the ninth of April. From April 12 to April 16 of the best clubs in the NHL (top three teams in each division and two from each conference) will begin their journey in the playoffs, and the Stanley Cup winner will be determined in June.
The current holder of the Stanley Cup is Pittsburgh, who beat in the final in six games, “San Jose”.
