Scientists reported the irreversible subsidence of rocks in the Netherlands, which can lead to flooding of the territory.
This was confirmed by images taken by the satellite Sentinel-1.
The experts used radar imagery to map the subsidence of rocks in the Netherlands. The study used photos from November 2014 to April 2016 and information about 2.5 million control points measurements.
