The football Federation of Ukraine announced the appointment of Andriy Shevchenko for the post of chief coach of the national team. Contract with 39-years old signed under the scheme “2+2”.
As the press service of FFU, the Federation Executive Committee unanimously supported his nomination at its meeting on Friday.
For known in the past footballer it will be the first experience as a head coach. Since February of this year he was the assistant coach of the national team of Ukraine Mykhailo Fomenko.
The coaching staff of the Shevchenko joined the Italians Mauro Tassotti and Andrea Mulder.
