From the camp of the national team of Ukraine on basketball received unpleasant information.
Today, the team of Evgeny Murzin began training camp in preparation for qualification for Eurobasket 2017 – of the 19 players called to the team, participation in the first training session took only 13 players.
After the medical examination was eliminated defenders Sergey gladyrya and Alexander Linden, forwards Dmitry Glebov and Maxim pustozvonov and center Igor Zaytsev Artem Pustovoy.
To partially compensate for losses of the national team coaching staff decided by an invitation to the team’s defenders Oleksandr Riabchuk and Andrej Lebedintseva. Received a call to the national team and Stanislav timofeyenko, however, the former forward “Dnepr” refused the invitation. It is expected that after the European championship U-20 national team will join defender Alexander Kobets.
It is still unknown whether to help the national team in qualification for Eurobasket 2017 Jerome Randle, Joel Bolombi and Alex Lane. The basketball Federation of Ukraine continues dialogue with the above players.
It should be noted that the atmosphere in the camp of the national team of Ukraine is not favourable – the sudden refusal Evgeny Murzin from two players of “Dnepr” (Stanislaw timofeyenko and Sergey Zagreb) provoked the conflict between the players and the coaching staff.
