The head coach of the national team Evgeny Murzin decided on the squad for the qualifying games for Eurobasket-2017.
In preparation for the qualification of Eurobasket 2017 “blue-yellow” team played 11 test matches and scored eight wins. The Ukrainian team won the tournament in Kalev (Estonia) and scored a brilliant victory over the German national team.

Directly in Eurobasket 2017 will break only the group winner. The second team of the Quartet could expect to qualify for the European championship, if you’ll be in the top 4 of the teams who finished the group stage second place.
The final stage of the European championship in basketball from 31 August to 17 September will take four countries – Israel, Romania, Turkey and Finland.
