American MMA fighter Ivan Cole was fatally wounded by shooting himself in the head with a pistol. Reported by the New York Daily News.
25-year-old athlete was found dead in his apartment in Dallas early Saturday morning, June 11. Police did not specify the cause of death, but the wife of the deceased insists that he shot himself by accident. “I lost my husband. He made a bad decision, deciding to play with a gun, and it cost him his life,” said the woman.
During his career, Cole has had five matches with two wins and three defeats. His last fight he held on 27 March 2015 against the Romanian fighter Gheorghe Pacurari. The deceased left a wife and four year old daughter.
