Rumors of a possible ban of Russians use social networks during working hours, fortunately did not find its confirmation, on the contrary — they are officially denied. The Ministry of labour is not going to make the appropriate changes in the TC of Russia, but does not deny that it received the relevant instructions. Let’s just say, all the fault of women.
Really, it all started with the fairer sex, rather, with Olga Golodets, Deputy Chairman of the Russian government, which has instructed the labor Ministry to consider a proposal to ban social networks at workplaces during working hours. A little later a similar idea was submitted and the Chairperson of the Commission of Public chamber on social policy. The answer of the Ministry of labour was clear and not causing additional issues: the proposed changes be made to the labour code will not, since the decision to ban employees ‘ use of social media during working hours should be taken exclusively within companies. In addition, the code already contains all the necessary standards relating to this issue, emphasized in the Ministry.
Meanwhile, many companies and so long ago already forbid their employees to spend working hours for which they are paid, on social networks and other online services, greatly reducing the efficiency of productivity. In some firms even provide penalties for attempted use of social media during working hours from their mobile devices.
