The Ministry of Finance has approved the draft lawregulating the activities of collectors. That Agency gave a positive opinion on the document, said Deputy Minister Alexey Moiseyev, reports IA “SeverInform” with reference to TASS.
We will remind, the bill has already been introduced in the state Duma of the Russian Federation. Its initiators were the chairmen of both chambers of Parliament Sergei Naryshkin and Valentina Matvienko.
According to some of the proposed changes, all collectors should be in a special state register. Also, the bill is limited to communicating the collector with the debtor, prohibited the use of physical force and threats, bodily injury, property damage and psychological pressure. The penalty for violation is proposed to increase in 10 times — up to 2 million rubles.
