Sunday afternoon in new York city in Manhattan was the most massive in US history a parade of members of the LGBT community. This year the event was dedicated to the victims of the massacre in Orlando — visitors to the club for representatives of nonconventional sexual orientation. The parade of LGBT community took place in conditions of unprecedented security measures along the entire route of the marchers and spectators were guarded by thousands of law enforcement officers. Police Commissioner William Bratton promised, “We significantly strengthen security, improve the organization and supervision of both participants and spectators of the procession to ensure the absolute safety of everyone.”
The procession began with a minute of silence in memory of the dead in Orlando, and led the parade to the owner of a Florida club Pulse in which the massacre took place. Took part in the rally were carrying flags of the 49 orange color, symbolizing the struggle against violence to the number of dead. Many were holding pictures of the victims of the terrorist-singles.
The procession was joined by many well-known politicians, stars of show business and cinema.
