President striker and FC Olimpik Donetsk, Vladyslav helzin has decided to retire from soccer more.
The last match in the career Vladyslav helzin was technically a home game Olympique de Marseille vs “Steel” at the age of 42 years 253 days, the President of the Donetsk club became the oldest member of the Ukrainian Premier League.
“I look back on my past path of the player with pride, I’m really proud of what I achieved in football. I won trophies, played a bright, successful matches and I have a great memory. I have achieved much more than I expected in the beginning of his career,” said helzin the TV channel “Football 1”.
Vladyslav helzin professional career started in 2004 with a Second League – 10 years later “Olympic” made its way into the elite of Ukrainian football. In September 2014 helzin in the match with Metalurh Zaporizhya with a penalty scored their first and only goal in the Premier League, becoming the oldest scorer in the history of the championship of Ukraine.

Outside of football Vladyslav helzin is known as one of the founders of the charity Fund “Olympic”, a former member of “Party of regions” and businessman, specializing in agriculture.
