The lawyer of the Collegium of legal protection of car owners Marat Bikbov in an interview with radio station “Moscow speaking” said that the arrival of the graduates of the FSB Academy on Gelandewagen does not fall under the law on mass events.
“What I saw — it’s hard to call the rally. No signs, no calls, no banners — just moving a certain number of cars. There are minor violations: parked where prohibited, moving along the strip of public transport for some time, and the straps were not fastened” — he said.
Earlier, on 2 July, the participant stated that public criticism of him is not surprising. “This is quite normal. If I was riding on a white “Volga”, it would be applauded. I don’t see anything inappropriate in the motorcade travel without traffic violations”, — he said.
Check-in took place on 21 June. In early July, eyewitnesses posted footage of the incident. As told REN TV source, several young men rented the car for three hours. The cost per hour of renting a car amounted to 1.5 thousand rubles per person. Thus graduates were able to collect a few dozen SUVs and to arrange check-in.
