Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with any candidates for U.S. President, said the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov.
Wednesday in the course of communication with journalists, Peskov commented on the statement of the candidate in presidents of the United States Donald trump about the possibility of a visit to Russia with a visit before his inauguration if he wins the presidential election in the United States.
In this regard, Peskov was asked a question about whether trump’s meeting with Putin in this format.
“I want you to recall the words of President Putin that he is ready to welcome you and ready to chat with any candidates who advocate the development of relations and the development of the dialogue between our two countries, because Russia is looking for good relations, seeking cooperation, seeking cooperation and, accordingly, Moscow is willing to respond positively to any intention to have a dialogue,” – said Peskov.
