The international Olympic Committee until the end of the week could isolate Russia from the world of sports.
The head of the independent Commission of the world anti-doping Agency Dr. Richard McLaren issued a report on the investigation of fraud Russia with doping tests during the Olympic games 2014 in Sochi. Later, WADA advised the IOC to suspend Russia from the upcoming Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
As says the Spanish newspaper “Marca”, the final decision of the International Olympic Committee of Russia is postponed until the end of the week.
Meantime, the IOC noted that all mentioned in the report of McLaren employees of the Ministry of sports of Russia, including the head of the organization, Vitaly Mutko, will not receive accreditation for the Olympic games in Rio.
Also, the IOC will create a special disciplinary Committee under the leadership of Denis Oswald who will do the re-test of doping samples Olimpiadi 2016 and will take a full investigation on athletes, coaches, officials and staff mentioned in the report of McLaren.
