The head of WADA acknowledged the lack of evidence of doping violations by the Russians

Глава WADA признал отсутствие доказательств допинговых нарушений россиянами

Pranker Vladimir Kuznetsov (known as Vova) and Alexey Stolyarov (Lexus) had a conversation with the President of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) Craig reedy and head of the U.S. anti-doping Agency (USADA) Travis Tigertom. The content of the conversation on Friday, 22 July, was published on the website of the TV channel NTV.

The conversation occurred in may, but the record is not uploaded to share, as it could affect the decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the court of arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the Russian athletes.

In conversation with reedy and Tigertom prankery was presented by Ihor Zhdanov, Minister of sports of Ukraine.

Craig reedy admitted that no evidence of violations by Russians anti-doping regulations, in addition to the words of the former head of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory of Gregory Rodchenkov in a WADA there. “The first time I heard about it when I sent an article in The New York Times,” he said.

Craig reedy also said that despite the lack of evidence, the national team of Russia should be removed from the Game in Rio de Janeiro. “Our position is that it should not be there… If I had made my decision, I would have dismissed the Russian national team in athletics for 12 months… This is politics, my friend,” he said.

July 21, CAS banned Russian athletes to participate in the Games in Rio. The court rejected the claim of the Olympic Committee of Russia and 68 athletes to the International Association of athletics federations (IAAF) for participation in the competition. The only Russian athlete at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro will be a long jumper. Darya Klishina, which the IAAF in a special manner were allowed to compete in international tournaments.

The Minister of sport Vitaly Mutko said that the decision CAS politicized and has no legal basis. Two-time Olympic champion Yelena Isinbayeva has compared the verdict with the funeral of athletics.

Olympic games 2016 will be held in Rio de Janeiro from 5 to 21 August.
