The public debt of Belarus on April 1 made 362,2 trillion roubles and increased in comparison with the beginning of 2016 33.7 trillion.roubles, or 10.2%.

External public debt as of 1 April 2016, amounted to 13 billion dollars, having increased from the beginning of the year to 528 million dollars (including exchange rate differences), or 4.2%.
In January-March 2016 attracted public external borrowings in the amount of 686,5 million dollars:
– $500 million – Eurasian Fund for stabilization and development;
– 88,0 million dollars – the government and banks of the Russian Federation;
– 87.4 mln dollars – banks of China;
– $11.1 million – IBRD.
The repayment of external public debt from the beginning of 2016 amounted to 225,8 million dollars.
Internal public debt as of 1 April 2016, amounted to 101 trillion rubles, having increased since beginning of the year to 3.6 trillion rubles (at the expense of exchange rate differences), or 3.7%. For Jan-Mar 2016 posted domestic currency and ruble-denominated government bonds for legal entities and physical persons for the sum 405,8 million dollars and 600 billion rubles. Repaid foreign currency and ruble-denominated government bonds for legal entities and physical persons in the amount of 566,5 million dollars and 1 935 billion.
