The first round of elections in Bulgaria ended: first exit polls

In Bulgaria ended with the vote in the presidential elections.

According to exit polls from the polling stations, published after closing, none of the candidates failed to score more than half of the votes to win in the first round. But the two candidates surely advance to the second round.

According to sociological Agency Alfa Research and Gallup, the lead candidate of the Bulgarian socialist party (BSP) rumen Radev. For it gave their votes to 24.8 percent of voters. In the second place the candidate from the ruling party “Citizens for European development of Bulgaria, which holds” (coat of ARMS) Tsetska Tsacheva. That’s what the two candidates will meet in the second round of the presidential election.

In third place – the candidate from the coalition “United patriots – NFSB, ATTACK and VMRO,” the green Karakachanov, which gave the leaders 10 percentage points, gaining 13.6 per cent of the vote. The rest of the 18 candidates for the presidency of Bulgaria failed to overcome the 10% barrier.

The turnout for the presidential elections in Bulgaria amounted to 52.4 percent.
