The fire occurred in the school dormitory.
In the Northern part of Thailand as a result of fire in the hostel of a private school were killed, at least 17 girls, two more remain missing.
The incident occurred at about 11:00 p.m. local time at a private school in Wiang PA PAO, Chiang Rai province.
The local police said that the girl died aged five to 12 years. Also five girls received serious burns, and 14 girls managed to escape unharmed.
It is noted that currently the fire has been extinguished. Its causes are still being investigated.
