Ukrainian singer Tonya Matvienko expressed his opinion about when Ukraine will become truly independent.
She announced this in an interview.
To a journalist’s question about how could the singer to call Ukraine in the current conditions independent, Matvienko Jr. said he doesn’t think so.
“No, today Ukraine is not independent. But we have freedom of speech, for which, of course, many lose their lives, however, Ukraine is not independent. There is a war, there are murders. I think when people cease to die, then the country will be truly independent. Soon we will have another independence Day when we celebrate peace. Became independent Ukraine in 1991, but now I don’t consider it as such,” – said Matvienko.
