The ECB predicted Britain “difficult negotiations” with Brussels at the exit from the EU

ЕЦБ предсказал Британии "тяжелые переговоры" с Брюсселем при выходе из ЕС

UK will face serious trade talks with the European Union in the case of withdrawal from the bloc, said the head of the European Central Bank (ECB), Mario Draghi.

He also expressed the hope that citizens will vote against the referendum out of the EU, writes Bild.

“I can’t and don’t want to believe that the English will vote for separation because together we are stronger. However, if they vote, they should be clear: they will lose the benefits of the single market”, — said the head of the ECB.

Speaking of Germany, Draghi noted a number of benefits of the state from the current monetary policy of the ECB.

“The inhabitants and companies of the Eurozone countries have become solvent and are able to purchase more German export goods that German companies partially compensate for the decline in trade with China,” he said.

Earlier, the Minister of economy of France Emmanuel macron warned London about the “sudden change” British-French relations in the event of a British exit from the EU.
