The head of the Duma Committee on family, women and children Olga Epifanova (“Fair Russia”) considers that a lump sum payment from the parent capital should be 50 thousand rubles to families in need could “stretch” the money for a few months.
Previously, the Russian government submitted to the state Duma a draft law on lump sum payments at the expense of means of the parent capital in 2016 and to increase that amount from 20 to 25 thousand rubles.
“My personal position is to raise this above payment of 50 thousand rubles, so that their family can “stretch” the money for a few months, to recoup their lost income. In any case, the adoption of this measure will have a special social significance for our families. The practice of providing similar benefits shows that the receipt is drawn 70% of the citizens, not ordered by means of mercapital,” said Yepifanov.
