Czech Republic coach Pavel Vrba has named the 23 players that formed the final squad for Euro 2016.
The main surprise in the application of the Czechs was the presence of 35-year-old midfielder, “Arsenal Tomas Rosicky, who at club level last season, played only 19 minutes.
The main star and hope the Czech Republic at the European championship will be the legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech, on account of which in the national team already 119 matches.

Goalkeepers: Petr Cech (Arsenal), Tomáš Vaclík (Basel), Tomas Koubek (“Slovan”).
Defence: Theodor Gebre Selassie (SV Werder Bremen), Roman Hubnik (Viktoria Plzen), Paul Kaderabek (“Hoffenheim”), Michal Kadlec (Fenerbahce), David Limberský (“Victoria Plzen”), Daniel Pudil (Sheffield Wednesday), Marek Suchy (Basel), Tomas Sivok (“Bursaspor”);

In the group stage of the European championship, the Czechs will face Spain (12 June, Paris), Croatia (17 June, Saint-Etienne) and Turkey (June 21, lance).

In the recent history of the country the Czech team never missed the European championship in 1996, the Czechs in the final to stop Germany, and in 2004-m to year team in the semifinals lost to Greece.
