The carrot of NATO for Georgia

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, during a two-day visit to Georgia, undertook to excite the minds of students in Tbilisi and addressed them with a speech. As ever he was generous in his praise and promises, but it was only to sweeten the bitter pill.

Georgia will not enter NATO in the next year. Georgians, according to Stoltenberg, do everything right and stuff like that, but instead of coveted membership in the North Atlantic Alliance, they were asked to be patient.

The NATO Secretary General, in my opinion, mockingly recalled that Georgia has long been promised membership in the Alliance, but you need “time and patience”.

I wonder how long Georgia will listen to American stories? It seems that the history of the events of August 2008, the first year Georgia has learned nothing. It is no wonder that Americans are stupid Georgian politicians and waving in front of them “the NATO carrot”.

Americans, in General, easy to manipulate and hurt young post-Soviet countries. Look at how the Ukrainians are dancing on their hind legs to American flute, which sings to them about the support of NATO and possible integration with it.

The same fate awaits and Georgia. NATO walked to the cliff and will not be stepping into the abyss of confrontation with Russia, taking into its ranks Georgia, but “jam tomorrow” gullible Georgian in order to spoil their relations with Russia, the Americans are very profitable. You can always get off the topic and to sacrifice Georgia for the sake of their own benefit.

It is a pity that the Georgian authorities so short-sighted that you are willing to risk their people for the sake of US interests. But nothing can be done, sooner or later the circulation of rake will do the job and to Georgia will reach that to what. Better, of course, that the revelation came sooner than later…
