The German Parliament will consider the possibility of establishing a collective security system instead of the Alliance.

The question on creation of system of collective security from “Lisbon to Vladivostok” could be considered today by the German Parliament as an alternative to NATO. This was stated by the representative of the parliamentary Committee on defense Alexander Noah.
He noted that the discussion should take place before the start of the NATO summit in Warsaw, and later held protests against membership in the Alliance.
“The idea of the resolution was the following: we don’t need NATO, instead we need a system of collective security from Lisbon to Vladivostok. This week we will arrange it officially”, — quotes the words of Sputnik Nov.
According to the MP, “left” disappointed in NATO, as the Alliance was unable to ensure stability on the continent, and the buildup of forces in Europe is only a negative impact on relations with Russia, thereby increasing the risk of a collision.
